Marquee stud is located in the upper Hunter Valley in the rich and fertile Liverpool Plains. The property is 800 acres of magnificent undulating, well drained red basalt soil, with a blend of natural and sewn grasses throughout as well as 105 acres of lucern. The farm was initially established in 2008 and specialises in thoroughbred agistment and sales preparation. We are thrilled to introduce the new managers of Marquee Stud, Allan Musty and Raylene Davey, with a combined 45 years of experience in all facets of thoroughbred management. Allan has worked on Marquee Stud since its inception and both he and Raylene know every inch and undulation of the property; it is an exciting new chapter for Marquee Stud!
We offer high quality agistment facilities for permanent and seasonal mares, including full 24 hour foaling service and also agistment for weanlings, yearlings, and spellers at very competitive rates.
We have staff to care for your mare both pre- and post-foaling. They are monitored 24 hours a day and we work in conjunction with vets on a daily basis to make sure the birthing process is safe.
Foals are weaned from about five to six months of age, in a way to ensure both mare and foal experience minimal distress.
Our location makes it ideal for sending mares to any stallion in the Hunter Valley. Our post service care ensures your mare has every chance possible to get in foal.
We pride ourselves in the presentation of our horses at the sales and you can be assured your horse will be prepared and presented in the best possible condition.
